Present shelter, with an eye for the future

Leatherhead Night Hostel not only provides vital shelter, it also seeks to help its residents gain stability in their lives.

As you read this - is it cold outside? How would you cope without a warm bed - worse still how about not having a roof over your head? When you think of the homeless do you get depressed and yet do nothing?

Leatherhead Night Hostel changes people's lives. Here are three recent examples:

  • A young man with years of drug and debt problems - now officially paying the council back, has addressed his drug habit and been accepted into the army.
  • A pregnant woman - now in a Christian home for homeless mums-to-be in Woking.
  • An older man homeless for a good while and awaiting a triple bypass - now has a housing association flat and is serving on the Committee of a daytime drop-in centre.

Collections at all of our Christmas Day services will go to Leatherhead Night Hostel. Last year over £3,500 was raised. Come along and help Leatherhead Night Hostel make a bigger difference this year.
