Whether it is bugs or domes, no one can be oblivious of the buzz about the Millennium. But what and why are we celebrating?

The Millennium celebrates the birth and life of Jesus Christ and representatives from each Ashtead church are pooling ideas and resources to produce a single programme of events. Planning activities under the slogan - "A chance to change for good" it will work closely with the secular group that is co-ordinating other village activities.
