How ashtead at Reaches Your Home
Three times a year an army of 170 people is called to action in the streets of Ashtead.
Its mission - the publication you are currently reading, which arrives on your doorstep as a result of impressive military-like efficiency and precision.

Coordinator Carol Kester takes up the story: "We split up Ashtead into 14 areas and each area has a warden distributor, who picks up the magazines from the parish office once they have been sorted by Mike Carter and his team. They then distribute them to road wardens for delivery. Each road warden has responsibility for a certain number of homes and, in addition to the magazines, delivers welcome packs from the three Ashtead churches to houses that have changed hands."

With a print run of 6,500, there are plenty of magazines available to ensure that all 6,000 households receive a copy.

"To have 170 people involved in distribution shows the immense community spirit in Ashtead," added Carol.
