Maureen Andrews 1952-2003
On 23 September family and friends came together at St Michael's for a sad, yet tremendously uplifting farewell to a wonderful lady.

All who knew Maureen had their own special memories and anyone in contact with her during the last year can only have been inspired by the way she dealt with her cruel illness. Facing death so bravely she even took time to write very special and treasured letters to those close to her.

As wife and mother, Maureen was a source of great joy, happiness and encouragement to Peter, Charlotte, Robert and Stuart; as daughter and sister she was dearly loved and will be sorely missed; as teacher, she devoted many years to working with children with severe learning difficulties; as foster-mother, together with Peter and all the family, she gave so much love to children in her care that their lives were transformed; as true friend she is irreplaceable. May she rest in peace.
