Two-day test for local cricket teams | ||||
Fantastic fun but hard work and tiring is how Penny Burnett described
Ashtead Cricket Club's Changing Rooms fixture with Dorking Cricket Club.
They were assisted by Graham Wynne and Gordon Whistance, and umpired by the ever-flamboyant Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
The two teams of four players exchanged their bats and pads for paintbrushes, hammers and drills and set about transforming each others' club rooms.
"It was great to work with such a wonderful production team," said Penny,
"and to meet the stars of Changing Rooms was a memorable experience not to be missed."
Thankfully there were no bad decisions and both teams were bowled over with the results - watch out for Changing Rooms on BBC ONE in January. Actual transmission 23 February 2004 For more photos see BBC Homes ![]() |
