The Brigitte Trust offers help to local residents
Photo: Brigitte Trust logo For twenty years the Brigitte Trust has been offering help to local people suffering the effects of life-threatening illness, with a free service of emotional support and practical help at home.

Many families from Ashtead have received the help of a volunteer over the years. Volunteers offer 2-3 hours per week. The time is often used to sit with a patient giving the carer a break, driving to a hospital or doctor's appointment, shopping and outings. Sometimes, listening is the most valuable gift of all.

Male and female volunteers are needed or if you, or someone you know, would like the assistance of a Brigitte Trust Volunteer please call the office on 01306 881816.
