Top Left:Mary in a blue cloak with her arms crossed.
Top Middle:Jesus on the cross with a green crown of thorns. The background has soldiers running towards the gates of a fortified town.
Top Right:St John holding a book.
Bottom Right:St George on a rearing horse about to spear the dragon, with the terrified maiden (king's daughter?). The modern (1960s) east window at St George's has a similar St George and also a St Giles.
Bottom Middle:Mary (seated on ground), Jesus and St Anne (seated in a chair). According to legend St Anne is Jesus grandmother.
Bottom Right:A kneeling abbess (Mathilde de Lexhy), in white, with her dog. St Bernard is standing over her as she prays.
