Our church youth worker, Adam Prior, married his bride, Charlotte Stone, on Saturday 25th July at St George's Church, Ashtead.

Adam and Charlotte met at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. After the wedding, at which Adam's brother Matt was best man, they spent a week in the Alps and then the Yorkshire Dales.

Adam's job keeps him busy. There will be a Youth Service in December run by the young people, for the young people. "It's really important that they use their talents and gifts - this gives them a greater sense of ownership on the event," says Adam.

Some of the youth groups are going through a time of change. "When working among young people it's important to be evaluating our vision as we seek to serve them and God as best we can." A new venture to get involved in the community of Ashtead is underway. A list of organisations and needs will be sent to every youth group member so that they can choose to help the community where it is really needed.
