Pearls For 'earing
A Musical Evening celebrating the paintings of Vermeer

Vermeer's pictures are filled with scenes showing people making music.
So what musical pearls might this young lady be listening to?
Peter Medhurst's intriguing presentation looks at the musical aspects of Vermeer's paintings
and is enhanced by instrumentalists and singers performing contemporary music and
using replicas of instruments that appear in the paintings.
