Volunteering… makes a difference!
It is undisputed that volunteering does make a difference to our communities and also to those who give time to supporting organisations, projects and other people. The opportunities to 'put something back', to learn new skills or keep up old ones, to meet a new group of people or even a reason to get up in the morning, are plentiful.
Mole Valley Volunteering helps prospective volunteers to find just the right opportunities that fit their skills and aspirations and of course their availability. Placements range from advocacy to youth work, conservation to performing arts. And, of course, the proposed Ashtead Good Neighbours project.

Sometimes people think that they have to commit themselves to huge chunks of time, but that's not necessarily true. Often a couple of hours a week is all that is required.

Why not drop into the centre to find out just what work is available? The Mole Valley Volunteering office is based at the Fairfield Centre, Swan Court, Leret Way in Leatherhead and is open Monday to Friday 11.00am to 2.00pm. You can contact Volunteering Development Officer Barbara Watts on 383456 or online atcscvs@freenet.co.uk
