	Most of us think that Ashtead is a very good place in which to live. There are interest groups to satisfy most people, good sports facilities, churches and schools, open country around us and a crime rate among the lowest in the country. Many of us are givers, receivers, or both, of good neighbourliness. Sometimes, though, personal circumstances change abruptly, or through time, accident, illness, bereavement, or financial or other disaster. We look at some of the help available.
