Harvest Warmers
Corn Chowder
3 medium onions chopped
3 medium potatoes diced
¾ pt milk
1 tin creamed style sweetcorn
S&P
2 tbsp parsley

Sauté onion and potatoes in a little butter for 10 minutes
Add milk, sweetcorn, S&P and most of the parsley
Simmer 15-20 minutes until potato is cooked but still in shape
Or:
Bring to boil on stove top, then slow cook in oven for 45 mins Gas 3 170°C
Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley to serve.
Havest Warmer logo Tomato Soup
1 stick celery
1 carrot
1 onion
3 rashers steaky bacon
1oz butter
1 lb tomatoes,skinned and sliced
1pt beef stock
pinch mixed herbs
pinch sugar
S & P
Chopped fresh parsley

Chop the celery, carrot, onion and bacon
Sauté these for 3 minutes in the butter
Add all the remaining ingredients except the parsley
Simmer for 40 minutes
Process to desired texture
Sprinkle with a little chopped parsley to serve.
