The DfES has approved the plans for a £750,000 building project at St Giles' School.

In January 2004, subject to council planning approval and other development consents, the school will embark on building three replacement classrooms and upgrading the existing buildings, to improve facilities for the 120 pupils.

The whole project will cost approximately £750,000, of which the Governors need to raise £75,000. The PTA has already pledged £10,000 and several other generous donations have been gratefully received. The school will be launching their appeal in the autumn, when there will also be an opportunity to visit the school and see the plans.
