Last April saw 264 people from Ashtead set off for a parish houseparty at Ashburnham Place in Sussex. |
| Excellent food and inspirational talks from Mike Hill (now Bishop of Bristol) brought everyone together.
There was a wide selection of games, a firework display and 220 acres to explore and in which to relax from the regular pressures of life.
One of the great positives of the weekend was the chance for all ages to mix and worship together. "With over a quarter of the people there between 5 and 15 years old we all came back with a spring in our step" said Andy Carter. | |
