St George's Church, Ashtead

Photo of St George's St George's Church from Barnett Wood Lane
St George's Church has the largest capacity of the churches in the parish.

It is situated in Barnett Wood Lane on the corner with Oakfield Road, Ashtead.

It was built in 1906 in red brick. Between 1959 and 1964 the building was enriched and enlarged.

An 18 month renovation including the demolition of the adjoining 1950s halls complex and 1970s room and Parish office resulted in greatly enlarged facilities integrated into and around the church itself. This produced the St George's Christian Centre which opened Easter Day 2001
