Ashtead: The Street in the 1920s
A new 20-pages booklet by Meredith Worsfold takes us on a journey along 'The Street'.
 |
The walk is full of reminiscences of the sights, sounds, smells and characters he encountered during the 1920s and 30s.
There is also an insightful look at how the shops and houses have changed into what we find as we walk along The Street today.
