Bob Kiteley - Ashtead's new Rector
On the evening of Saturday 20 February, over 400 people packed in to St George's Church to welcome Rev Dr Bob Kiteley as the new Rector of Ashtead.

In a service lead by the Bishop of Guildford, the Right Reverend John Gladwin, Bob Kiteley became the 48th Rector of the Parish of Ashtead.

The theme of the service was partnership, emphasising the partnership between God and his people, and between the church's leaders and lay members.

During the service, Bob was formally welcomed by various church representatives as well as the Chairman of the Mole Valley District Council John Butcher and by the Chairman of Ashtead's Resident's Association Larry Unthank, demonstrating that the partnership extends into the community.
