Welcome to the first edition of 'Ashtead at…' Three times a year Easter, Harvest and Christmas, we will bring you news and views of people and issues that affect each of us.

With a kids activity page, a "what's-on" guide and useful local numbers panel, there is something for everyone. And with over 14,000 residents, there is always lots to talk about.

The writing team includes college-leavers, commuters, mothers and others who work in and around Ashtead. We all look forward to receiving your views on any of the subjects we air, along with suggestions for future items.
