Football in Ashtead is thriving: there are three adults' and 12 boys' teams of various age ranges.
Matches take place at the weekend and year managers take responsibility for a team, staying with them as they progress.
Following the completion of a multi-use games area on the recreation ground, there is now a greater opportunity for sport in Ashtead. This hard court floodlit surface will be used by Ashtead Football Club and also hired out for other sports, such as netball and basketball. "We hope there will be an increase in sports activity.
