We look forward to the arrival in Ashtead this summer of Richard and Jo Jones with their children, Rachel (5) and Joshua (2). Richard is in his final year at Wycliffe Hall Theological College in Oxford and will serve as curate.  | ||||
| Although born in India, Richard grew up in north London, where his father was the minister of a Baptist Church in Islington, which is where Jo also spent her childhood.
Richard later returned to India to spend a gap year teaching at a Christian school.
With a degree in Law and Political Science from Durham, he then pursued a career in management before "exploring a call to ordained ministry".
Jo is a primary school teacher and spent a year teaching in Hungary prior to marrying Richard in 1995.
"I am passionate about apologetics, discipleship and the local church," says Richard, whose interests include the arts, photography, travel and sport. A warm Ashtead welcome awaits them at their new home in Loraine Gardens. | ||||
