Who are these delightful young ladies?
Why not come and find out for yourself, and meet at least one of them at St Giles' School during the 150th Anniversary Celebrations in June.
There are two main occasions when you are invited to visit St Giles' School, Dene Road, Ashtead. Come for tea and look around the active school on either Wednesday June 19th or Thursday June 20th from 1.30 to 4.00pm. In addition, there is the reunion and celebrations on the school field on Saturday June 22nd. It will start with a Celebration Service at 2.30pm led by the Bishop of Dorking, followed by tea and a Bumper Barbecue from 7.00pm to 11.00pm with live music. (You will need tickets for the barbecue - request forms will be available at local shops and the Parish Office). Go and see the exhibition of memorabilia, or buy souvenir items including a new 'history of the school'. Further contributions to the exhibition are most welcome.

Dragonsfire and Vox Angelica
Three words define one Ashtead family. Music, music, music. Between them the Perona-Wrights perform in schools, lead music in the church, sing folk, jazz and classical and play any number of mediaeval instruments. See article A day in the life of - Dragonsfire and Vox Angelica for more details.
