An invitation to join the show!

Locally-based choir SPECTRUM is looking for enthusiastic tenors and basses to match recent additions to the ladies' sections.
Photo of SPECTRUM choir The choir specialises in light modern music, and has a full programme of events for 2001, including a trip to the North Devon Spring Festival of Song, making a CD and two major concerts. The programmes will feature favourite songs from stage and screen, (James Bond and Les Misérables) and composers like Gershwin and Lloyd Webber - something for everyone!

The Spectrum style - 'We don't just sing, we entertain' - may be familiar from performances in the Parish. The choir has sung at Harvest suppers, entertained the Link Group and been a frequent and welcome visitor to Griffin Court. Last November Spectrum helped raise funds for the building at St George's, by giving a concert with the Tim Boniface Jazz Trio, and this year it will be supporting the Ashtead Learning Difficulties Action Group.

Anybody who would like to join or simply find out more is welcome on a Tuesday evening at The Vale School, Langley Vale, between 8 and 10pm to meet the choir who just love to put on a show!
