From caterer to carer

Sharon Seal has been our full time Pastoral Worker since 1st January this year. 		After 20 years as a chef, this is a complete career change. She affirms: "For some time I have felt God knocking on the door calling me to some form of full time pastoral work". So when Rector Bob Kiteley asked her she felt it would be absolutely right.

Sharon sees her main role to be that of a listener and enabler, to be a friend to anybody whether in need or in joy.

Two months into the job she feels a real "peace in her heart" that she is in the right place. There will be more about her experiences in a future issue of ashtead at.
